Children learn best when lessons are a combination of fun and learning. My priority is for my younger students to feel comfortable and participate by speaking.
Grasping a language at a young age is priceless; let me help your child through this process.
Children between the ages of 7 to 12 are at a critical age to learn a new language. In my online English lessons for kids I introduce new verbs, showing present, past and future tenses allowing my students to practice and feel comfortable using the verbs. Phrasal verbs (sit down / stand up) can be also introduced with picture explanations and once again verbal and written in-class sentence practice. Various activities improve the children’s vocabulary with focus on high frequency words. (for example: had, but, by, etc.)
Homework can be assigned, for example – watch a 3 minute children’s video and write a short 4 sentence summary or orally summarize the video in the following lesson. Another example is to write some sentences describing a picture. Homework corrections enable students to see where they went wrong.
Most teenagers have had some exposure to the English language; I can accelerate their skills using various exercises and activities with the focus being on speaking! I keep teenagers interested by creating each lesson around their interests and ability with materials covering various genres from “inviting someone to the cinema” or “ordering food at a café.”
My focus is on my teenager students to feel comfortable and to speak throughout the lessons, with some time spent on grammar exercises.
During the lessons I give direct explanations for corrections for my students to understand and improve. Also I assist with pronunciation corrections aiming for my students to speak like a native English speaker.
For Teens I have structured homework exercises that are assigned through their student management system; this is of no extra charge and is beneficial for progress! Between lessons teens can login to their account to complete homework exercises, review lesson summaries and track progress. A smooth process accelerating the teenager’s learning process.
